AVPL Remake: Manisha Koirala To Replace Tabu?

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is a big hit in Telugu. Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde played the lead roles and Trivikram Srinivas directed the movie. Tabu, Jayaram, Sachin Khedkar, and others played the supporting roles. Now, the film is getting remade in Hindi with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon playing the lead roles. The interesting update is that Manisha Koirala is in talks for Tabu’s role in the Hindi version.

The film unit initially wanted Tabu to play the same character in the Hindi version. Since Tabu is a popular and busy artist in Bollywood, the makers wanted to have her on board. But, she is currently working with Kartik Aaryan for Bhool Bhuliaya 2. Because of this reason, the makers wanted to look for another actress who had not shared the screen space with the young hero.

The film unit is feeling that Manisha Koirala will be the best option for the role as she can carry it gracefully. The talks are going on and the actress will sign the dotted line soon.

Geetha Arts is producing the film in Hindi, in association with a leading Bollywood production. The official announcement on the film will come out soon.
