The Tollywood film industry is swinging back into action with a series of interesting releases. However, the producers decided to release the films directly on digital platforms as there is no clarity on the reopening of theatres. Already, Nithiin’s Maestro was sold to Disney+Hotstar for a whopping amount. The latest to join the list are Drishyam 2 and Narappa.
Victory Venkatesh’s two films will likely release on the OTT platforms directly. Narappa, the official remake of Tamil hit film Asuran is heading for a direct OTT release. Suresh Productions is bankrolling the film in association with V Creations. Venkatesh also finished the shoot of Drushyam 2 recently. The film is also heading for a direct digital release.
Amazon Prime Video is said to have grabbed the streaming rights for the two films. The platform will officially confirm the release dates soon.
