Republic Theme Song: Youthful Yet Meaningful!

Sai Dharam Tej and Deva Katta’s collaboration did raise many eyebrows. The duo has joined forces for a political thriller. The film’s teaser did raise the expectations earlier. The makers have unveiled the first song of the film today.

It is a theme song which sets the mood and tone of the film. Though it is set against a college backdrop with students singing it, the song is all about the significance of ‘Freedom’ aka ‘Swechha’.

Imagining ‘Freedom’ as a beautiful girl, the protagonist and his friends groove to this catchy number. The lyrics penned by Rahman are deep enough to touch the chords.

The song’s pallavi begins with ‘Naa Pranamloni Pranam, Naa Dehamloni Daaham’ and throughout it runs with worthwhile lyrics. Director Deva Katta’s vision has been translated well into the number. Mani Sharma yet again created his magic with this youthful, peppy yet meaningful.

On the whole, the theme song is a perfect blend of concept and energy. The film has Aishwarya Rajesh as the female lead. Jagapathi Babu and Ramya Krishna are playing stellar roles in this political thriller. The film is bankrolled by J Pulla Rao and J Bhagavan under JB Entertainments in association with the Zee Studios.
