Only-Telugu streaming service Aha is expanding its market slowly and steadily. With a huge subscriber base, the Telugu platform is going to entertain the audiences with a large number of films, web series, and other original shows. At the Aha 2.O event today, creative advisor Vamshi Paidipally announced the Telugu version of the most popular Indian Idol.
Titled Telugu Idol, the show will be a platform for talented singers to showcase their talent. Freemantle television production company that launched the American Idol show in the USA is also behind the prestigious singing reality show Indian Idol. Now, Aha is bringing it to Telugu.
Announcing the collaboration with Freemantle for Telugu Idol, director Vamshi Paidipally took pride in revealing the details of the show.
“We are bringing this show for all the Telugu people across the world. The auditions will be conducted soon and it will be as transparent as possible,” said Vamshi, revealing that it is one of their prestigious shows.
Earlier, Telugu singers Sreerama Chandra, Hemachandra, Karunya, Revanth, PVNS Rohith, Sireesha Bhagavathula, and Shanmukha Priya participated in the Indian Idol singing show.
