Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is back in Delhi again. A short while back, he met Prime Minister Modi and invited him to the fast approaching Amaravati 2.0 relaunch project.
The latest pictures of Chandrababu and Prime Minister Modi together from this meeting at the Prime Minister residence in Delhi have now surfaced on social media.
The last time Modi was in Andhra Pradesh for the launch of Amaravati was back in 2015, but sadly there wasn’t much contribution from the centre in the Amaravati construction sector back then.
However, there is increase the responsibility on the centre to contribute to Amaravati and they have done fairly well on this front. The central government allocated an assured loan of Rs 15,000 crore from the world bank and also, the HUDCO has issued Rs 11,000 crore allocation for the Amaravati project.
With the relaunch programme scheduled to take place on May 2, the Prime Minister’s office has already communicated the authorities in Andhra Pradesh about the Modi visit. Related protocol and security arrangements will be made very soon.
