Shivathmika Rajashekar, being the daughter of industry vets Dr. Rajasekhar and Jeevitha, definitely had some big shoes to fill, but she’s been smart about carving out her own lane.
Instead of just going for the usual commercial masala movies, she’s stuck to roles that actually require some heavy lifting acting-wise. She really caught everyone’s attention in the 2019 period drama Dorasaani, which, honestly, was a pretty bold debut, and even bagged a SIIMA for it. Since then, she’s been bouncing between Telugu and Tamil cinema, doing projects like Ranga Maarthaanda and Nitham Oru Vaanam that show she’s more interested in the craft than just the “glam” side of things.
