After a series of ups and downs, Nithiin seems to have finally locked an exciting combo. The young hero has teamed up with AAY fame director Anji for a new film under the Shresht Movies banner, his home production. What’s grabbing attention now is not just the combo, but the planned release window.
The makers are eyeing the prestigious Sankranthi season and are even considering the title Sankranthi Subhakankshalu. For Nithiin, this festive window could be a golden opportunity. It’s been a while since he has had a strong commercial setup backing him, and a Sankranthi release always brings massive visibility and family audiences.
The title itself sounds festive and carries a traditional vibe, perfectly suiting the season. However, things are not that simple.
Sankranthi 2027 is already crowded. As many as six to seven films are in the race, including biggies from Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Balakrishna, and Nagarjuna who will announce their Sankranthi 2027 releases very soon
Competing with such heavyweights is never an easy task. At the same time, shifting to another date might dilute the impact of a title like Sankranthi Subhakankshalu. Nithiin has to get things right this time otherwise his career will land in doldrums. Will Nithiin take the big gamble? Let’s wait and watch.
