The Telugu film industry is witnessing a wave of exciting announcements from its senior stars, but one mystery continues to puzzle fans and it is Nagarjuna’s landmark 100th film.
Recently, Chiranjeevi and director Bobby officially launched their much-awaited project with a grand pooja ceremony. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace, with the makers eyeing a Sankranti 2026 release.
Meanwhile, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s film with Gopichand Malineni grabbed attention after the release of its glimpse yesterday. The project is on track for a Dussehra release, while Balayya’s upcoming collaboration with Koratala Siva is also preparing to go on floors with a Sankranti 2027 target.
Venkatesh is not far behind either. His film Adarsha Kurumbam AK 47 with Trivikram Srinivas has already been officially announced, and reports suggest that shooting works are being completed soon. At the same time, he is expected to begin work on another project that is aiming for a Sankranti 2027 release with Anil Ravipudi.
However, when it comes to Nagarjuna, the silence is surprising. Despite reports that his 100th film began shooting quite some time ago, with Tamil director Karthik reportedly directing it, there has been no official announcement from the makers.
Even more surprisingly, fans are yet to get a first-look poster or any promotional material. With such a prestigious milestone project, many are wondering: why is Nag still keeping it a secret?
