A recent addition to the Netflix OTT platform is the documentary film “Curry and Cyanide,” based on a real-life story. The documentary, centered around murder cases, is currently streaming on Netflix and has quickly risen in popularity since its release on December 22nd.
The documentary caught everyone’s attention in less time on the platform by even surpassing the viewership for new releases like “Adikesava,” starring Tollywood hero Vaishnav Tej and Sreeleela, Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawaan” and the Hollywood film “Aquaman.”
The intriguing documentary consistently holds a position in the top 10 in 30 countries. Directed by National Award winner Christo Tammy, “Curry and Cyanide: The Julie Joseph Case” explores events inspired by real-life incidents and has garnered an unexpected and positive response from audiences.
With the success of this documentary, more documentaries are on the 2024 slate of Netflix.
