The much-anticipated sequel, “Yatra 2,” is set to release globally on February 8, 2024. The makers launched a teaser today, showcasing glimpses from the movie, revealing actor Jiiva as YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
The recently unveiled teaser offers a poignant glimpse into YS Jagan’s (Jiiva) political journey as the son of YS Rajasekhar Reddy (Mammootty). Focusing on the challenges faced by YS Jagan during the Odarpu Yatra, “Yatra 2” captures Jagan’s determination, leading to his triumph in the 2019 elections. The film explores the political landscape of Andhra Pradesh from 2009 to 2019 in this sequel.
The film features Mahesh Manjrekar as Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Suzanne Bernard as Sonia Gandhi, and Ketaki Narayanan as YS Bharathi.
Following the success of the 2019 film “Yatra,” which starred Mammootty in the lead role, the sequel is again directed by Mahi V Raghav. Madhie is the cinematographer, while Santosh Narayanan is the film’s music director.
