USA: Indian Husband Shoots 4 Family Members

4 Indian nationals lost their lives in a shooting incident linked to a domestic dispute in the US state of Georgia. The incident took place early Friday morning in Lawrenceville city, according to officials.

The accused, Vijay Kumar, a 51 year old resident of Atlanta, has been taken into custody. Police said the victims include his wife Meemu Dogra and three other family members. All four adults were found dead inside the house with gunshot injuries.

The incident occurred around 2.30 am at a residence on Brook Ivy Court. At the time of the shooting, three children were present inside the house. To stay safe, the children hid in a closet. One of them managed to call 911, which helped police reach the scene quickly. The children were unharmed and were later taken into the care of a family member.

Police have filed multiple serious charges against the accused, including murder and cruelty towards children. Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
