Indian origin Mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani has started to enforce a strong regime in his maiden year at the office. He has taken several revolutionary measures that have gone well with the New York population and he is back on the job now.
It is already known that New York is facing its worst snow decades and Mayor Mamdani is on the job as he pushed out a new job notification that enhances the communal spirit.
“Work alongside New York City’s Strongest as we get through this historic storm. Emergency shoveling pay is now $30/hour.” Mamdani tweeted.
This will essentially mean that the New York City will be paying up to $30 per hour, which roughly converts to around ₹2500 per hour in Indian currency. This is a part of the emergency snow shoveling operation that’s orchestrated by New York authorities to deal with this snow situation.
Due to the bad snow storm that has affected the city authorities are in need of emergency manpower, and that is the reason why the mayor has decided to offer $30 per hour rather than the standard $19 per hour.
There are certain requirements that are to be met as the individual must be aged above 18 and must work more than 40 hours per week to receive the $30 per hour wage. But nevertheless, a very good pay of ₹2500 per hour could invite a fair volume of Indian population as well.
