India Summons US Diplomat Over Sailors’ Deaths

India summoned U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Jason Meeks and lodged a strong protest over repeated U.S. naval attacks on commercial vessels in the Gulf of Oman. The Ministry of External Affairs condemned the incidents, which claimed three Indian lives, and demanded measures to prevent further civilian casualties.
