Rajya Sabha MP Santosh Joginapally’s Green India Challenge has got a major boost. Legendary Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has taken the challenge and has planted a sapling in Ramoji Film City along with King Nagarjuna. Producer Aswini Dutt and Film City MD Vijayeshwari also participated in this program.
The MP has also gifted the Superstar his book ‘Vruksha Vedam’ on the importance of planting trees and improving greenery. The challenge and the book have been recently appreciated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.
The Superstar has camped in the Ramoji Film City for the shooting of Prabhas’s Project K. He has appreciated the MP for aggressively promoting the importance of increasing Green cover in the age of Global Warming and Rapid Urbanization.
