Right after completing his walkathon as opposition leader, Jagan claimed that TDP has done Rs 6 Lakh crore corruption in its tenure. Jagan also added that he would initiate a CBI probe if voted to power. Based on this, Jagan has appointed a cabinet sub-committee to study the corruption allegations of TDP government.
This morning AP cabinet met and the sub-committee has reportedly submitted its report to AP CM YS Jagan. The report has a huge scam related to AP Fibernet project which is estimated around Rs 750 crore while in Ramzan Tofa and Chandranna Kanuka schemes, there are irregularities of Rs 158 crore. On these three schemes, Jagan may initiate the CBI inquiry.
Also the AP cabinet has cleared the lines for Bhogapuram airport and Ramayapatnam port. For the port, AP government wants to urge funds from the Centre and in five phases, the construction of the port would be completed. In the first phase, the government is estimating a budget of Rs 4736 crore.
The AP cabinet also took a decision on Assembly sessions. From June 16th, the assembly sessions would be held and on the same the BAC would be meeting to discuss the agenda of the sessions.
