The episode of Narasapuram MP Raghurama Krishna Raju’s issue has become a big headache to YSRCP. Raju’s open defiance against the party leaders and allegations on the very own party MLAs have done a great damage to the party. Raju’s open comments on CM Jagan’s unavailability to party MPs and MLAs as it’s difficult to get his appointment have become a hot topic. While the party is mulling over an action against Raju, this may have its own repercussions in the district since Raju community may turn against the YCP.

Yet, after a lot of mulling, finally, YCP has initiated an action and as a first step, it has issued show cause notice to Raghurama Krishna Raju. Responding on the issue, none other than Vijay Sai Reddy opined that Raju has crossed the line. He said everyone in the party should toe the line and act as per party’s discipline. He said anyone – no matter how big one is – who violates the party’s stand and discipline would not be spared. He said no one is above the party and strict action would be taken against the one who violates party’s principles.

Responding to Raghurama Krishna Raju’s comments on getting the Chairman of Legislative Committee in Parliament and attributing the credit to BJP, Vijay Sai Reddy stated that Raju got the posts he is enjoying because of Jagan. Vijay Sai Reddy said CM Jagan has given utmost importance and value to Raghurama Krishna Raju than any other MP. He said Raju’s comments were unfortunate and against the party. He said Show Cause notice has been served to Raju as he had flouted the rules and guidelines of the party.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sai Reddy has blasted former State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar. He alleged that Nimmagadda is working in the direction of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. Vijay Sai Reddy said he has written a letter to the DGP asking him to conduct an inquiry into the Park Hyatt meeting between Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar, MP Sujana Chowdary and former minister Kamineni Srinivas. He questioned the work of Sujana Chowdary with Nimmagadda and alleged the “business relation” between the duo.
