Former minister and AP BJP leader Pydikondala Manikyala Rao has tested positive of Covid-19. This is acknowledged by Manikyala Rao himself officially through his official Twitter handle.
In the video posted by Manikyala Rao, he said that he contracted the virus from one of his friends, who visited him about three days. After his friend getting Covid-19, Manikyala Rao underwent tests and results arrived positive.
Currently Manikyala Rao isolated himself at his residence at Tadepalligudem and might shift to a private hospital later in the day. The BJP leader said that not to fear of the virus or hide it and appealed to the people to following all the precautions like maintaining social distancing and wearing a mask. If not, the virus will spread in any form to our near and dear.
