Breaking: PK turns down Congress’ offer

Published by

In what could be a huge development, political strategist Prashant Kishor has turned down the offer by the Indian National Congress (INC) and so he would not be joining the Congress party.

Apparently PK has been holding talks with Congress party for the last couple of days and he even submitted a report to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. The report was analysed by a committee and it listed out its opinion to Mrs Gandhi.

But the Congress has placed a couple of conditions before PK that he should stay away from working as political strategies to other political parties in the country, especially to TRS in Telangana and YCP in AP.

As per the latest media reports, PK was not convinced with the conditions laid by the Congress and so he gave a second thought of joining the party and eventually declined the offer.

This means PK will be working with TRS party in Telangana ahead of the December 2023 Assembly elections. But what about PK’s national ambitions? He had been hoping to join Congress and play a crucial role in its revival and now that clear looks out of the syllabus.
