The other day AP High Court ordered for a ‘Status Quo’ on the ‘Three Capitals’ Gazette notification and asked the YCP government to file a counters and postponed the case to August 14th. This is sort of a minor setback for the YCP government.
On the High Court’s decision, the YCP government has approached the Supreme Court and lodged a special leave petition. In the petition, the YCP government urged the Supreme to issue a stay on High Court’s ‘Status Quo.’ This petition is likely to come for hearing next week.
The YCP government is hopeful that they would get justice in Supreme Court.
‘Three Capitals’ row has already taken many turns. The main opposition TDP is seriously opposing ‘Three Capitals’ and demanded the YCP government to take back their decision.
