Lost Faith On Jagan? Sunitha Approaches SC!

In a sensational twist Sunitha Reddy daughter of YS Vivekananda Reddy has approached the Supreme Court and requested the top court to transfer the mysterious murder of her father to another state.

Currently the CBI is investigating this case and simultaneously the AP High Court is monitoring the matter separately. Seems like Sunitha has lost all the hopes that the CBI will find the true culprits behind her father’s murder and stated that she does not have faith in the investigation being conducted in AP in the background of the recent events.

Sunitha approached the Supreme Court to transfer the trial of this case from Andhra Pradesh to another state. A bench of Justice MR Shah and Justice Krishnamurari took up the hearing on the petition and in response to the petition, the Supreme Court has served notices to the CBI and the AP government.

Senior advocate Sidharth Luthra argued on behalf of Sunita in the apex court and he informed the bench that the investigating agency officers and witnesses are being threatened and this is hampering the probe and consuming a lot of time. He appealed to the Supreme Court on behalf of Sunitha Reddy to transfer the trial to the Telangana High Court.

Post serving notices, the Supreme Court has postponed the next hearing to October 14th. In this gap the CBI and AP government have to respond to the notices of Supreme and it would be interesting to know how CM Jagan Reddy government would be replying.

Till date the CBI did not find any breakthrough in this case. A few days back the CBI’s Solicitor General argued in the AP High Court that private petitions are being filed falsely against probe officers and this is creating hurdles. Now Sunitha has knocked the top court. Isn’t this an embarrassment for CM Jagan that his cousin had lost all the faith to get justice for father’s assassination?
