Balayya, Theda vaste dabidi dibide

Minister Roja

The Health University name change issue has taken an interesting turn following Andhra Pradesh Tourism minister Roja’s early morning tweet. The actor turned politician took to Twitter in the wee hours of Sunday and gave a strong counter to her former co-star and TDP’s Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna.

“Balayya, play your flute in front of Chandrababu not Jagan Anna. Jagan Anna is not a reel lion, he’s the real lion,” tweeted Roja, further adding Balayya’s yet another famous dialogue – “Theda vaste dabidi dibide!” Roja’s tweet attack is a counter to Balayya’s recent statement on the NTR Health University name change issue.

Condemning the Jagan-led YSRCP government’s decision to rename NTR Health University as YSR Health University, Balayya took to Facebook and said that NTR is not just a name but a legacy, a civilization and Telugu pride which cannot be replaced or renamed.

Balayya went on to say that father (YSR) renamed the airport and now it’s his son’s (Jagan) turn to rename the university. Balayya also warned the YSRCP leaders that all the five elements are watching their wrong deeds. On the other hand, Jr NTR’s ‘restrained and diplomatic’ tweet on the name change issue has angered a section of the TDP supporters.
