‘Tiger vs Tiger’, Sharmila Stick On To Paderu!

YSRTP president Y.S. Sharmila declared that she would contest the next elections from Paleru constituency in Khammam district. During her campaigning in the Khammam district yesterday, Sharmila announced that she would contest from Paleru and promised to dispense YSR governance, after coming to power. She sweared that she would stand by the farmers, get houses constructed for the shelterless poor, provide fee reimbursement and also implement Arogyasri scheme, if voted to power.

She alleged that some people were conspiring to defeat her in the next elections to be held in Telangana. “Remember that a tiger would beget a tiger only. I walked for 3800 km in the past and now, would begin my padayatra from Paleru and complete 4000 km.”

Meanwhile, there is talk that Sharmila chose Paleru constituency as part of a strategy. During the previous elections, Congress candidate Kandala Upender Reddy won from the constituency and then joined the TRS. Now, there is no Congress candidate from the constituency and it is being said that Sharmila picked the constituency sensing the lack of a suitable candidate from the place.

Moreover, in the wake of the din that Sharmila could either join hands or merge her party with the Congress, the Grand Old Party might not field any other candidate from the constituency.
