Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest got tremors across political fraternity. The business fraternity is also closely observing the political developments in Andhra Pradesh. The latest is a Corporate CEO has responded to Naidu’s arrest which is usually rare and first of a kind. He said Naidu played a pivotal role in getting businesses and investments to the state of AP. He said he is behind Zoho Corporation’s investment in AP. He said ‘Justice Prevails” and indirectly extended the support to Naidu in these tough and tested times. The businessman expressed shock over Naidu’s arrest in an alleged corruption scam.
“I was shocked to read that Shri Chandrababu Naidu-ji was arrested yesterday. I know him and he worked so hard to bring so many companies, including Zoho, to Andhra Pradesh. I hope justice prevails,” Sridhar Vembu, the CEO of Zoho corporate company tweeted along with sharing an article of Naidu’s arrest and grilling by the CID in connection with the skill-development scam case.
For the unversed, Sridhar Vembu is one of the successful Indian billionaire business magnates. He is the founder and CEO of Zoho Corporation. According to Forbes, he is the 55th richest person in India with a net worth of $3.75 billion, as of 2021. He was awarded India’s fourth highest civilian award, the Padma Shri, in 2021.
Sridhar Vembu is the first person from the corporate fraternity to raise his voice in support of Naidu. This is giving a big boost to TDP and Naidu’s family at this juncture.
