Purandeshwari & DK Aruna Gets Promotion

It’s been years that women leaders from Telugu states, Daggubati Purandeshwari and DK Aruna have joined the BJP. They did not get the due to recognition apart from just giving tickets to contest the elections. At last the BJP has promoted them simultaneously upsetting a few.

On Saturday BJP has made a reshuffle of the party’s office bearers. DK Aruna has been appointed one of the national vice presidents while Purandeshwari is made the new general secretary. Ram Madhav and P Muralidhar Rao are the AP BJP leaders who got demoted in this reshuffle. The new appointments were announced by BJP president JP Nadda.

Reacting to the reshuffle, Ram Madhav tweeted, “Congratulations to the newly appointed office-bearers of d BJP. Grateful to d party leadership for providing me d opportunity to serve for one term as Gen Sec.”

Young MP from Karnataka, Tejasvi Surya got the biggest elevation as he was made the new president of the youth wing Yuva Morcha.
