The Supreme Court served notices to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, CBI and all other respondents in connection with the disproportionate assets case filed against him.
The apex court bench heard to the petition filed by YCP rebel MP K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju urging the court to dismiss Jagan’s bail.
The MP’s counsel took it to the notice of the court that neither the CBI or ED did not challenge Jagan’s bail petition. To this, the bench asked, “Should the bail be dismissed now itself?”
The MP’s counsel urged the court to issue notices and then begin the process.
Raju had already filed a petition seeking shifting the case to Delhi from Hyderabad. The bench asked the registry to attach that petition also to the bail petition.
