Ahead of the elections in Telangana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Lord Venkateswara temple on the Tirumala hills this morning and offered prayers for the well-being of all Indians.
Modi reached the Renigunta airport on Sunday night and proceeded to the Tirumala temple after being received by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor S Abdul Nazeer.
In the wake of the PM’s visit to the temple, TTD honorary priest Ramana Dikshitulu took to X and posted: “Tirumala temple is in the clutches of non-sanatani officer and Govt who are systematically destroying ancient traditions constructions and assets of Hindu temples under TTD. Kindly save the temple and establish Hindu rashtra here immediately. God bless you”
The tweet has gone viral minutes after being posted with many TDP leaders sharing it immediately. Deekshitulu also alleged that the non-sanatani officer and government together are systematically destroying ancient traditions and assets of Hindu temples under TTD.
The TTD honrary priest’s post urged Modi to save the temple and establish Hindu Rahstra, apart from checking the misuse of TTD assets.
Jagan is a Christian and he had been showing discrimination against Hindus by desecrating temples and idols since his party assumed power, reminded a TDP leader. He also does not follow the principle of taking his wife to the temples while offering silk clothes to the presiding deities, he added.
By placing his henchmen in the TTD, Jagan had been trying to divert the TTD funds since long. Now, the temple priest himself revealed the fact, a devotee at the temple said.
