Revanth Reddy’s First Reaction On KCR’s Defeat!

TPCC chief and CM candidate Revanth Reddy has responded to the BRS’s defeat and the rise of the Congress party in Telangana.

In his first press conference after the victory in the Assembly elections, Revanth Reddy
remembered the significance of today’s date i.e. December 3. He highlighted the sacrifice of Srikantha Chary in 2009, a young man who immolated himself in Hyderabad on November 29, 2009 and succumbed to burns on 3rd December, fighting for a separate Telangana. He asserted that Chary’s sacrifice is a pivotal moment in Telangana’s history.

Revanth expressed gratitude to the people of Telangana for entrusting the grand old party with an opportunity. He extended thanks to the Congress High Command and acknowledged the contributions of party leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to the victory in Telangana, attributing the party’s success to the Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi.

Before Revanth Reddy’s address, Telangana Congress in-charge Manikrao Thakare spoke to the media, attributing the party’s success to the concerted efforts of party workers and leaders. Meanwhile, Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge expressed gratitude to the people of Telangana for their trust in the Congress and the resounding mandate given to the party.

Kharge acknowledged the disappointing performance in Chhattisgarh, MP, and Rajasthan but affirmed the party’s determination to rebuild and revive in these states. In a tweet, he thanked those who supported the Congress in these regions and declared the party’s commitment to overcome setbacks, preparing thoroughly for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections alongside other parties in India.
