Nara Family Plunges Into Action: Back-to-Back Meetings In 25 Days

With elections approaching fast, the Nara family has plunged into action. While TDP boss and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is busy chalking out action plan to address back-to-back public meetings in the next 25 days, his son and TDP scion N. Lokesh is busy touring the constituencies in the state. Surprisingly, Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneswari is also into campaigning this time having taken up ‘Nijam Gelavali’ yatra, which is basically a condolence exercise.

Naidu will address a series of public meetings from January 5 to January 29. Reportedly, he would take rest for a couple of days in between for which reason nearly three public meetings have also been scheduled on some days. The party cadre had already received the public meetings’ schedule. The TDP supremo would start speaking at public meetings from Kanigiri in Prakasam district and would culminate in Anantapur district.

In the next couple of days, Lokesh would tour in Mangalagiri constituency and would continue to visit all the mandals before Sankranti. He would also hold meetings with the party cadre and local leaders. The Nara family is putting in all efforts to ensure victory in the next elections as it cannot afford to remain out of power for another 5-year term.

A few TDP sympathisers could not withstand the shock of their leader Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest and subsequent imprisonment, who reportedly breathed their last in some cases. Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneswari is condoling the bereaved families as part of her ‘Nijam Gelavali’ yatra. When Naidu was in the jail, she visited 3-4 families in Chandragiri, Tirupati and Srikalahasti and handed over cheques of Rs 3 lakh to each of the families.

After Naidu was granted bail, Bhuvaneswari stalled her yatra and then the YCP leaders criticized her in a satirical manner. In response to the ridiculing or for some other reasons unknown, Bhuvaneswari has decided to resume the yatra. She would tour for three days in North Andhra districts and speak to the bereaved families. She is also expected to hand over Rs 3 lakh cheque to each of the affected families. She would reach Hyderabad by January 6 evening and restart her yatra after a gap, said party sources.
