Telangana CM Revanth Reddy took a no-holds-barred approach on ex-CM KCR and even targeted AP CM Jagan in his aggressive media meet yesterday. Speaking about the Krishna waters issue between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Revanth said, YS Rajasekhar Reddy cheated Telangana by diverting Pothireddypadu waters to AP.
Revanth remarked that the looting continued after KCR became the CM and YS Jagan. He pointed at the one time when Jagan came to a lunch meeting with KCR and got the grant to divert 8 TMCs of Telangana waters to Rayalaseema Irrigation projects.
The Telangana CM then did something unexpected as he directly challenged YS Jagan to come to Nagarjunasagar now and divert water allocations like how did when KCR was the CM. “Dhammunte ippudu raa Jagan” were Revanth’s exact words.
The Congress CM asserted the point that KCR rewrote every sentence of the state bifurcation guidelines according to his own wishes to help his gang. He termed KCR as a “Durmargudu” for intentionally diverting Telangana’s waters .
