Kavitha Gets CBI Summons In Delhi Liquor Case

The Delhi Liquor case that has been troubling several oppositions across India has gained pace again. BRS head KCR’s daughter, Kavitha who was earlier investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding the case, has now been summoned by the CBI.

The CBI has summoned Kavitha to appear for investigation on February 26th in connection with the Delhi Liquor case.

The allegation that Kavitha is facing is that she was in touch with the then-communication in-charge of AAP, Vijay Nair who allegedly met businessmen during the conceptualization of the Delhi liquor policy which is now scrapped. She is alleged of paying bribes in connection with the case.

Kavitha moved the Supreme Court against the ED investigation and got momentary relief, but the CBI has gotten involved now and she might have to appear before CBI sleuths for further investigation on the mentioned date.
