Kavitha Denied Bail Despite Plea Over Son’s Exams

KCR’s doting daughter K Kavitha was recently nabbed by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the Delhi Liquor Policy case that was lodged against her. She has been serving remand at the Tihar jail after the Delhi Rouse Avenue court adjudicated the case.

Kavitha has been seeking a legal remedy and had filed for an interim bail. She cited her personal situation of her minor son preparing for his exams and the need for her to be by his side for moral support but the court turned down her appeal.

The Rouse Avenue Court rejected Kavitha’s interim bail petition which will mean that she will have to serve remand time till further notice.

Strangely, even the BRS ecosystem hasn’t taken up Kavitha’s jail sentence issue as a mainstream modus operandi. KCR himself hasn’t spoken a single word against the arrest.
