Who Is Likely To Be New DGP Of AP?

The Election Commission passed an immediate order later in the day yesterday by formulating the transfer of incumbent DGP K Rajendranath Reddy. The EC then asked for three new options of officers of the Deputy General rank by 11 AM today.

Coming to the latest unverified updates, there is ongoing speculation that Dwaraka Tirumala Rao could be taking charge as the new DGP of AP.

Dwaraka Tirumala Rao is likely to take charge as the new DGP of Andhra Pradesh. Reportedly, he carries a straightforward image and is regarded as an earnest officer with top dignity for his profession.

Tirumala Rao was a student of the JKC College in Guntur. He earlier served as the Managing Director of APSRTC and is said to be in the good books of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Will he be officially taking charge as the new DGP of AP? We shall know soon.
