Ex-Police Officer Pushes ‘Peddaayana’ Into Trouble!

Telangana

According to the confession of former Telangana Deputy Commissioner of Police (Task Force) Radha Kishan Rao, who is an accused in an illegal phone tapping case, the former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who he referred to as ‘Peddayana’, it looks like the former Telangana CM is in trouble. The ex-police officer stated that KCR personally planned and monitored the Moinabad farmhouse MLA poaching episode.

Kishan Rao claimed that KCR wanted to use the MLA poaching case as a bargaining chip with the BJP to ensure that his daughter and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha’s name was removed from the Delhi liquor scam case. It could be noted that she got arrested in the same case recently.

As per the former cop, KCR had instructed the State Intelligence Bureau to conduct surveillance on Tandur MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy after receiving information that some BJP leaders had approached him with an offer to switch parties.

Later police laid a trap and arrested the BJP leaders involved, and wanted to nab national leader B.L. Santos as well such that he could be used to remove Kavitha’s name from the scam. However, the plan was not executed as expected, and an important person from the Mata Amritanandamayi Institution managed to escape the police net, regarding which KCR got miffed.

The whole confession, now out in the leading dailies, smells like trouble for the former CM KCR, who always maintained innocence in the MLA-Poaching case and alleged that Kavitha’s role in the Delhi Liquor Scam case was just fabricated.
