Pinnelli Gets A King Like Arrest

One of the biggest attention-grabbing incidents in the recent AP electoral roll is Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy’s EVM-smashing saga in Macherla. He illicitly barged into a polling station, destroyed an EVM and even assaulted the TDP agent who tried to stop him. Pinnelli’s coterie was allegedly carrying dangerous weapons during this time.

After escaping police action for the last few weeks due to immunity from the AP High Court, Pinnelli has finally been arrested by the police a short time back. But the interesting thing about this arrest is that it wasn’t like a regular police arrest but instead, it was a “King-like” arrest.

In a viral video on social media, Pinnelli is seen walking in a care-free manner towards his own vehicle which he used to reach the police station. The police themselves stationed in the car belonging to Pinnelli and took him to the station. Pinnelli is seen walking like royalty without giving a damn about the arrest.

Even YCP cadres and supporters are surprised by the smooth and “royal” treatment Pinnelli got while getting arrested today, and that too in the TDP regime. Usually, we see police in close proximity to the suspect and even escorting him to the vehicle but nothing of that sort was seen today, surprisingly, given the nature of the 4 cases filed against Pinnelli.
