Congress MLC Says Congress Minister Loots Money

Though it is in power, the Telangana Congress has been suffering from internal disturbances for quite some time. On one side, veteran leader Jeevan Reddy has been lashing out at the high command for ignoring seniors and favoring MLAs who defected from the BRS. Now, Congress MLC Teenmaar Mallanna has commented against cabinet minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.

Speaking at a public meeting, Mallanna fumed at Ponguleti for looting the public’s money to construct projects. “From where did Ponguleti get all his money? From where did he get all these contracts?” questioned Mallanna.

Meanwhile, an old video of Mallanna praising Ponguleti has surfaced on social media. In the clip, he states that he never tolerated anyone speaking against Ponguleti. Mallanna termed Ponguleti one of the rare politicians and said that he admires him the most.

Now, a few social media handles have been sharing these then-and-now videos of Mallanna and trolling him for his contradictory statements. Meanwhile, it is also heard that the Congress leadership is quite upset with his statements against a party leader. Even in the past, Mallanna is seen making statements against CM Revanth Reddy.

Despite becoming an MLC with the support of the Congress party and its high command, Mallanna’s dual tongue nature is irking the party. The opposition is criticising the leadership of the Congress that they are not able to control their own party members when it comes to making anti-Congress statements. In such a situation, people like Mallanna and their comments do enough damage to the party, questioning the credibility of those in power.

So, it remains to be seen how Congress handles the situation.
