Sharmila: ‘I Swore on My Kids, I Have No Relation with Prabhas’

APCC Chief YS Sharmila held a press conference today where she heavily criticized her brother, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. She alleged that Jagan remained intentionally silent when false propaganda was spread against her in the past.

In the latest press meet, Sharmila slammed Jagan for his corruption and poor administration over the last five years. In the same context, she questioned why Jagan stayed silent despite knowing about the false propaganda staged against her.

“Many people have linked me to Prabhas. Why was Jagan silent when false propaganda was made against me? I don’t have any relation with Prabhas. In fact, I don’t know who Prabhas is. I have already complained about this in the past. Even today, I stand by my words, saying that I have no relation with him. I swore on my kids that day, saying I have no relation with Prabhas,” she said.

Back in July 2019, YS Sharmila filed a police complaint in Hyderabad regarding these rumors. The alleged false propaganda has been circulating for almost a decade now.

On June 14, 2014, actor Prabhas wrote an open letter denying these speculations. In his letter, he stated, “There have been several embarrassing rumors about my alleged relationship with Ms. Y. S. Sharmila. I hereby categorically state that I have never met or spoken to her, and the rumors in circulation are completely baseless and have not an iota of truth in them.
