MLC For Vangaveeti Radha?: Much Deserved

The Telugu Desam party has the luxury of harbouring selfless leaders who work tirelessly for the party without expecting too much in return. One such leader is Vangaveeti Radha who has been with the party since 2019 and is much valued for his selfless efforts.

After feeling cheated by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Vangaveeti Radha took TDP’s side in the 2019 election, and he has been loyal for the party ever since. Now, he could be rewarded for his efforts with an MLC post by the NDA alliance.

Despite not getting an MLA or MP ticket from his desired constituency of Vijayawada, Vangaveeti, Radha always stood like a rock for the party at the ground level. He was frequently in touch with the party caterers and played a crucial role in polarising the votes all along.

Radha is one of the significant politicians hailing from the Kapu community, and he played a crucial role in polarising the community votes for NDA in the recent elections. He held multiple communal meetings and interacted with Kapu veterans, thus instigating them to side with the NDA outfit.

Radha shares a good rapport with Pawan Kalyan as well and he was firm on the prospect of polarising the Kapu votes for the alliance, which was also the mutual aim of Pawan himself.

As a result, the split in Kapu votes that severely affected both TDP and JSP while benefiting YCP in 2019, was avoided this time as they rallied behind the Kutami and cemented their position in the electoral mandate.

Now, the latest updates are suggesting that Radha could be allocated the MLC ticket soon and his nomination is a mere formality as he’s in the good books of all three of the alliance parties. He even met Chandrababu at the secretariat and this topic is said to have come to discussion there.

The best thing about Radha is that despite not getting electoral tickets or nominated posts, not once did he come out and issue dissent statements. He was a fierce loyalist from day one and that is slowly paying off for him with the possible MLC nomination on the horizon.

On top of that, Radha is one of the few top-tier leaders who is close to both Nara Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan, apart from having a positive impression with CM Chandrababu. In fact, Lokesh even went to Radha’s house straight from his US trip recently upon learning about the former’s medical condition. Such is their camaraderie.

All in all, Radha could finally be witnessing the much deserved peak in his political career with this MLC nomination. The chances are that his career graph could only go upwards henceforth for all the loyalty and dignity he exhibited over the years.
