Shocking: Shoe Thrown In Telangana Assembly?

The Telangana assembly sessions are usually not short of theatrical actions and equivalent reactions. But even by these standards, something very much unexpected and unparliamentary allegedly happened in the assembly today.

The BRS MLS, who attended the assembly session today made a shocking allegation that Congress Shadnagar MLA Shankar threw a shoe at them.

This incident allegedly happened while minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy was addressing the assembly amidst protests of the BRS MLAs. BRS claims that Congress MLA Shankar through a shoe at them and released related video footage.

However, in the released footage, we do not quite clearly get a view of the shoe. It could be seen that the Congress MLA is holding some sort of material in his hand, but we can’t necessarily confirm if that indeed is a shoe.

Meanwhile, the BRS MLAs have already started to make a meal of this situation by claiming that the Congress MLA did indeed throw a shoe at them.
