Permanent High Court Bench For AP In Kurnool

The government of Andhra Pradesh is working on setting up of permanent Bench of High Court at Kurnool.

The district collector and magistrate of Kurnool issued instructions to the Revenue divisional officer, Commissioner, and R&B Superintendent to enquire and submit a report on the availability of infrastructure and land to set it up.

The Kurnon district collector instructed the concerned departments to furnish information with respect to the availability of infrastructure facilities for 15 High Court Judges, Court Complex, courtrooms, staff rooms, accommodation for advocates, and residential accommodations for the Honourable judges and court staff available for advocates by 30th January, for placing the same before the Honorable Committee.

The Revenue Divisional Officer is asked to identify the vacant government land to set up a Permanent High Court bench in Kurnool. The officials have examined the AP ERC and AP SP second battalion building for this purpose.
