Netflix’s most popular show Squid Game is coming with its final season this summer.
The first season of Squid Game was the most-watched show on Netflix during the Covid time. The second season, Squid Game 2 was released in December 2024, with seven episodes but received a mixed response.
The third and final season of Squid Game has been announced. It will premiere on June 27, 2025. The second and third seasons were filmed simultaneously.
Squid Game Season 2 ended with a cliffhanging episode with a set of players rebelling against the game under the leadership of Gi-hun. The final season will have the final game between the players and the frontman who hid his identity to infiltrate the game.
The poster for Squid Game 2 hints at more brutal games ahead. The final game, Squid Game 3, premieres on June 27, 2025.
