Asked KCR Not To Come, Cried A Lot: Kavitha On Jail Life

The year 2024 was really hard on BRS lady leader and the daughter of KCR, Kalvakuntla Kavitha. She had to face a huge personal setback as she was arrested in the Delhi liquor scam case by The enforcement directorate on March 15,, 2024. She had to spend over 150 days in the notorious Tihar Jail before getting released on August 27.

In her latest interview, with a Telangana-based media outlet, Kavita opened up about the life that she endured while she was in jail, and she had an emotional story to tell

When asked why KCR did not come to visit Kavita in jail she had a strong response. “Don’t push the blame on my father. I specifically asked my father KCR, mother, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and my sister in law not to come to Tihar jail. I didn’t like to have them near the jail premises.”

Kavita stated that the weather was extremely bad, and there were extreme cases of overheating and inhospitable conditions. She added that the lights were on 24X7 making it really hard to rest. “I wish, even my opponents do not get to suffer so much in jail.”
