Talk: Naidu Learnt a Lesson from Jagan!

Chandrababu Naidu is showing a new side of his leadership as Chief Minister. In the past, he was known as a class leader who focused on big projects, technology, and top-level meetings. But this time, he is also reaching out to common people directly. Many believe he changed his approach after watching how Jagan Mohan Reddy lost touch with the public during his term.

When Jagan first entered politics, he built a strong image as a mass leader. He met thousands of people during his long padayatra and connected with voters across the state. But after becoming Chief Minister, he became distant. He mostly ruled through online events and virtual announcements. Over time, people started feeling that Jagan was no longer close to them.

Naidu seems to have noticed this mistake and is doing things differently. On the first of every month, he personally visits villages to hand over pensions to the poor. But he is not stopping there. He sits in people’s homes, drinks tea and coffee with them, listens to their problems, and joins in their daily routines. These simple interactions are helping him build real connections with the public.

For example, in a recent visit to Malakapalli village, Naidu spent hours with a cobbler’s family. He sat with them on their doorstep, asked how they make shoes, and even played a traditional drum. People were surprised to see him so relaxed and involved in their lives. This is making him more popular as a mass leader.

At the same time, Naidu is not ignoring his usual image as a visionary. He is still focused on big projects like Amaravati and is holding meetings with business and government leaders. But now he is combining this with real-time outreach to the public.

Naidu’s new strategy is simple. Be a leader who can talk to investors in the morning and have tea with a poor family in the afternoon. He is blending class with mass. And many feel he is doing this after learning from Jagan’s mistake, that a leader must always stay close to the people.
