The opening session of the Indian Parliament got a pretty heated start as both the ruling and opposition actions had a heated debate about the recent Operation Sindoor. Several sensitive topics came to discussion in the Parliament regarding this high-profile military operation, and here is a look into what really happened in the house.
The primary discussion was obviously about the factual details regarding the operation, including the questions about lack of intelligence reports about the Pahalgam attack, which is shocking in the first place. The opposition questioned the ruling government about the lapse in intelligence department.
This discussion further transitioned into the point about the nabbing of the four terrorists in this attack. Questions were raised about the nature of the tracing operation and also the intel that was gathered from the investigation.
Then came the main topic about the fact that the United States president Donald Trump has been repeatedly claiming credit for settling the dispute between India and Pakistan.
The implication here was that India was made to look like a weak nation while the United States president was publicly speaking about how he mediated and settled a potential nuclear war. It was made to seem like India had to go to the pressure of the United States and settle the issue amicably.
The ruling action was also fairly diplomatic with their response as they addressed the sensitive topic with adequate clarity and diplomacy.
