Death Threat to Kotamreddy, HM Anitha Responds!

During the five years of YS Jagan’s hostile misrule, Andhra Pradesh witnessed severe lapses in law and order. Several opposition leaders were brutally attacked, and even public representatives like RRR, JC Diwakar Reddy, Chintamaneni Prabhakar and others faced assaults.

Even though YSR Congress has now been removed from power, certain incidents continue to raise serious concerns about law and order. One such case recently involved TDP MLA Kotamreddy Sreedhar Reddy.

In a viral video circulating on social media, a few rowdy shooters were seen discussing how they could make a lot of money by killing Sreedhar Reddy. This disturbing conversation has become a topic of public debate, as it directly threatened the life of a ruling party MLA.

The issue quickly reached the top leadership in Andhra Pradesh. State Home Minister Anitha personally called Sreedhar Reddy and assured him of full government support. She also clarified that adequate security has been arranged and there is no immediate threat to his life.

However, the fact that the government is forced to worry about the safety of its own ruling party MLA is a worrying sign and calls for strong and decisive action.
