Jagan Copies Lokesh ‘Red Book’, Launched ‘Digital Book’

YCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy has launched a new digital platform called the ‘Digital Book’, clearly inspired by the viral ‘Red Book’ introduced earlier by Nara Lokesh when they were in opposition. While Lokesh’s Red Book documented alleged irregularities and issues by the YSRCP government during their tenure, Jagan’s Digital Book aims to do the same for YSRCP leaders now, while the party is in opposition.

The portal allows YSRCP workers and leaders to report harassment, false cases, or any political injustice under the current TDP government. Users can upload evidence such as photos, videos, and documents in real-time through the mobile app or web platform. For those without internet access, a toll-free IVRS phone number lets activists record their grievances, which are then uploaded to the system.

Speaking at the launch in Amaravati, Jagan said the platform would serve as a permanent record of every injustice against YSRCP members. He promised that when the party returns to power, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) would probe each case. “No one will escape accountability, whether officials, police, or political rivals,” he said.

The move mirrors Lokesh’s approach with the Red Book, which had gone viral by documenting alleged corruption and lapses of the previous government. Senior YSRCP leaders called the Digital Book a “digital revolution,” giving party activists a tool to fight back with evidence rather than just words.

The app will support multiple languages, including geo-tagging for precise incident mapping, and training sessions are planned for booth-level workers across Andhra Pradesh. Jagan urged activists to remain vigilant and document everything, saying, “Our time will come, and justice will be served double-fold.”
