The monsoon Assembly sessions are progressing on a very positive note in Andhra Pradesh with a proactive Chief Minister Chandrababu leading the proceedings.
In this context, Chandrababu made an interesting comment about his style of politics in the Assembly yesterday.
“Everyone knows the kind of fearsome atmosphere they (Jagan’s government) created while arresting me. They did not allow Pawan Kalyan to visit me and stopped him on the way. They even flew drones to track our whereabouts,” Chandrababu said.
Despite all the treacherous conditions Chandrababu endured, while his well-wishers were also put through trouble, not once did Babu contemplate revenge politics against Jagan.
“If I really wanted revenge, I could have arrested him on the very first day of taking charge. But that’s not the kind of politician I am. The people of Andhra Pradesh elected me as Chief Minister for the fourth time because of my dignity and character. I will not lose that at any cost.”
Meanwhile, significant legal action is underway with regard to the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam, which allegedly involves former Chief Minister Jagan as well. If deemed fit, there could be prosecution against Jagan in this connection, through legal means.
