Thalapathy Vijay, who is actively leading TVK party hit a major roadblock after a stampede that happened at his rally in Karur, Tamil Naidu claimed the lives of 41 people. This is one of the most unfortunate incidents pertaining to Tamil Nadu politics.
Vijay has now released a video footage of his first mainstream reaction on this burning issue and he sounded disgruntled with the same. He said on an emotional note that this is the most unfortunate thing that happened in his life, and he had never felt sorrower.
Vijay suggested chief minister Stalin to take any sort of action on him if need be, but not to go after his party working leadership. He said he would be available at his house or office at all times, if any sort of action needs to be taken in this matter.
This comes shortly after Vijay had recently communicated a financial compensation of ₹20 lakh for the victims.
It is a fact that Vijay had been facing a lot of criticism from all sections for his minimal reaction on such a calamity. He has been confining his condolences and apologies to social media statements and video footages. There is the need for Vijay to step out and meet the victims, and it is bound to happen soon.
Considering the kind of impact that this horrifying incident can have on his political future, it has to be seen what would be the next course of action from Thalapathy Vijay.
