Of late, there have been a handful of incidents in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly where certain NDA MLAs have crossed the line and made unnecessarily provocative statements.
This has invited reprimand from chief minister Chandrababu, and he again brought up this point at the cabinet meeting that was held last evening.
The chief minister categorically warned the MLAs not to indulge in internal rifts and avoid public confrontation on matters that require sensitive intelligence.
“There is no point in MLAs speaking as they wish in the assembly. This must be avoided at all costs, and I am designating this responsibility of controlling these MLAs to designated ministers. These ministers will have to make sure that the MLAs who are under their control must not cross the line.” Babu stated.
Chandrababu further added that he has been working 15 hours a day to set right the state finances and the last thing he needs is for the good work to be undone by these loudmouth MLAs.
