Jagan Suddenly Turns Focus to Ayyanna’s Area

Is Jagan Mohan Reddy suddenly shifted his focus to AP Assembly Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu’s constituency, Narsipatnam?

The clash between Jagan and Ayyanna has been going on for a while, especially after Ayyanna refused to recognize Jagan as the Leader of the Opposition. While that issue is still in court, Jagan’s latest plan has again put the spotlight on their rivalry.

Recently, the government decided to hand over 12 out of 17 medical colleges, started during YSRCP rule, to private partners under the PPP model. The YSRCP strongly opposed this move. During the Assembly discussion, Speaker Ayyanna said, “Even in my constituency, the medical college started during YCP rule didn’t move beyond the foundation. If giving it to PPP helps complete it, that’s fine.”

Jagan took these comments seriously and immediately planned a visit to Narsipatnam on October 8. He wants to visit the same medical college and show that the work actually began during his rule. Local YSRCP leaders have already been told to prepare for his tour.

Police have not yet given permission for the visit, as they expect political tension. It is still unclear whether Jagan will go ahead with the trip.

With this sudden visit, Jagan has once again brought focus to Ayyanna’s home turf, making Narsipatnam the new stage for their ongoing political fight.
