The Indian women’s cricket team has made the entire nation proud by winning the 50 over World Cup against South Africa last week. Subsequently, the players are being richly rewarded by the central and state governments.
Now it is the term of Andhra Pradesh government to appreciate the efforts of talented young Indian cricketer, Shree Charani Reddy, who is a part of the Indian team that won the World Cup.
Shree Charani is a native of the Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh, and she turned out to be an integral part of the Indian squad in the recent World Cup. So it is the natural responsibility of the Andhra Pradesh government to reward her for her efforts.
In this context, chief minister, Chandrababu and IT Minister Lokesh called on Charani and met with her at the CM residence in Amaravati today.
Honoured to welcome Indian women’s cricket star Shree charani and former captain Mithali Raj to our residence in Amaravati. CM CBN Garu and I congratulated Shree charani on India’s glorious Women’s World Cup victory. Her achievement truly showcases the strength and spirit of Indian women, Lokesh tweeted earlier.
